The Pokémon Company has released a promotion which awards the player a shiny Zacian or Zamazenta in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Shiny Zamazenta is available for Pokémon Sword players, while Shiny Zacian is available for Pokémon Shield players.

How to obtain shiny Zacian or Zamazenta changes depending on the country, with some countries currently only offering Zacian. We’ve compiled a list of how the methods to obtain a serial code for Shiny Zacian or Zamaxenta in every participating country, as well as how to receive them in-game.

How to Redeem a Shiny Zacian or Shiny Zamazenta Code

Launch Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield on your Nintendo Switch. Press the ‘X’ button and select Mystery Gift. Select Mystery Gift, Get a Mystery Gift and, finally Get with Code/Password. Enter your code and Zacian or Zamazenta will enter your party, or a Pokémon Box if your party is full.

Multiple codes of the same promotion cannot be redeemed and all codes are one-time-use. This is currently the only legitimate way to obtain shiny Zacian and Zamazenta outside of trading with people that have participated in this promotion.

How to get Shiny Zacian and Shiny Zamazenta in the United States and Canada

Currently, only Zacian is available in the US and Canada. Codes are available by visiting any participating Gamestop and will run until November 11th in the US and November 4th in Canada.

How to get Shiny Zacian and Shiny Zamazenta in the UK and Ireland

Both shiny Zacian and Zamazenta are available in the United Kingdom. They can be obtained in any participating GAME store, or online by entering your e-mail address on GAME’s web app. Ireland works similarly, but with Gamestop instead of GAME, offering codes in-store or via a web app.

How to get Shiny Zacian and Shiny Zamazenta in Australia and New Zealand

The shiny Zacian and Zamazenta promotion has yet to be announced for Australia or New Zealand. We will update this article when more information develops.

How to get Shiny Zacian and Shiny Zamazenta in Europe and Africa

  • Germany, Austria and Switzerland – Codes are available in any participating Gamestop while stocks last.
  • Spain – Obtainable in-store at participating GAME stores, FNAC stores or on GAME Italy’s website.
  • France – Available in participating Micromania stores or on their website.
  • Italy – Only available online via Gamestop Italy’s website.
  • Belgium and Netherlands – Available at participating GameMania stores or on their website.
  • Denmark – Obtainable in Nintendopusheren stores or participating Proshop stores. Codes are also available on Proshop’s website and at NØRDCON October 23rd and 24th.
  • Sweden, Norway and FinlandProshop‘s website are providing codes online, while Spel and Sånt are giving out codes in participating stores.
  • South Africa – Codes will be sent out through the Nintendo Distributor Email

How to get Shiny Zacian and Shiny Zamazenta in Asia

  • Japan – Show a Video Game Store clerk your Switch Home Menu with Pokémon Sword or Shield to receive a code.
  • Malaysia, Philipines, Thailand and Singapore – Various participating gaming stores will be giving out codes. It may be worth messaging your local store(s) on social media or calling them.
  • Hong Kong – 1010 Center and CSL are offering codes in participating stored
  • Taiwan – Codes are available in participating 7-11 Stores
