Fortnite Chapter Four, Season One introduces an array of brand-new weapons and items to the game, along with challenges designed to introduce players to everything Chapter Four has to offer. Oathbound Chests can be found in any of the Oathbound-themed Points of Interest on Fortnite Chapter 4‘s Island. Oathbound Chests are most prominent in The Citadel, located in the North-West of the Island. Just watch out for the powerful Ageless Knight boss that roams the castle.

Players that open an Oathbound Chest can expect to find items linked to the Oathbound faction, such as the Ex-Calibur Rifle, Falcon Scout, and Guardian Shield. Weapons obtained through Oathbound Chests will also be of Rare quality or higher. Oathbound Chests are larger than regular chests found throughout the Island and can be identified by their glowing aura and white coloring.

Knights of the Realm Bonus Goals

Search Oathbound Chests is a requirement for a Knights of the Realm Weekly Quest. Other Knights of the Realm Quests feature other Oathbound-related tasks, such as damaging players with the Ex-Caliber Rifle and searching chests with the Falcon Scout. Completing various Knights of the Realm Quests will earn you Bonus Goal rewards for some extra XP to help you progress your Battle Pass.

As most of the items needed to complete Knights of the Realm Quests are obtained from Oathbound Chests, we recommend tackling this Quest first. Remember, these Quests are all completable in Team Rumble, which can make them much easier to complete. Though the Storm is much faster than Battle Royale, Team Rumble features the ability to infinitely respawn and keep your inventory between eliminations.

Fortnite is available to play for free on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Android devices.
