The No More Heroes franchise began on the Nintendo Wii with two well regarded entries before kind of dying off for awhile until Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes earlier this year. While that game could be fun, it was very different from what the series have been before as a spin-off. We had hoped the game did well enough to get a full fledged sequel to the mainline games and Nintendo answered that question during their E3 Nintendo Direct with the reveal of No More Heroes III.

Starting off with a trailer, you might not have guessed this game was part of the No More Heroes franchise. The visuals look similar at first, but then quickly someone gets into a mech suit and flies into space to take on some sort of alien invaders.

Very quickly one of the mech suits comes off and we see the reveal of everybody’s favorite bad boy Travis Touchdown, confirmed this is indeed a new No More Heroes game. We don’t really get to see much of the game, but this trailer serves as more of a way to get us hyped for what is to come.

No More Heroes III will be coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch sometime in 2020.
