Call of Duty WW2 has a interesting new loot system.  While everything they offer is purely cosmetic, with some items giving buffs for things like XP or boosts for Zombies mode, their weapons, uniforms and items have numerous tiers.

Common, Rare, Legendary, Epic, and Heroic.  Through the Quartermaster you’ll be able to build Epic sets for Weapons and Uniforms, but the highest tier of items are only unlockable through Supply Drops.

The only way to get Heroic Weapons and Uniforms is through random Supply Drops.  Heroic Weapons and Items are colored a distinguishable Red color, and you’ll know when you’ve unlocked a Heroic items by in-game voice prompt.

The Quartermaster currently does not show any path to unlocking Heroic items, so we’ll have to assume that the only way to get these is through Supply Drops.  It hasn’t been officially confirmed, but some users on social media are reporting that you can get Heroic items through normal Supply Drops or Rare Supply Drops.   To get supply drops you can do a number of things in the game, like fulfilling contracts or completing orders.

While these items are rare, they only do things like modify the look of the weapon.  There are no actual stat changes to any of the Heroic or Epic weapons in Call of Duty WW2.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: Most Powerful Guns for Multiplayer https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-most-powerful-guns-for-multiplayer/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-most-powerful-guns-for-multiplayer/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:53 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667479

Call of Duty WW2 Features a slew of era specific weapons for competitive multiplayer.  Most of the weapons in the game can be unlocked through normal progression, while others need to be unlocked through Division Prestige.  Guns are more than just their damage rating.  Other factors like range and fire rate will play into how quickly they can take down an enemy and from what distance.  Combined with different perks and attachments, a gun that’s less powerful in terms of damage rating may work better for you and your play style.

Regardless, if you’re looking for the most powerful weapons in the game when it comes to how strong they are, we’ve compiled a list of the weapons in Call of Duty WW2 Multiplayer with the highest damage output across all the classes.   Below you’ll find the most powerful guns in the Rifle, SMG, LMG, Sniper and Shotgun classes.

Most Powerful Rifles in Call of Duty WW2

The most powerful rifles in Call of Duty WW2 happen to be two semi-automatic weapons.  What this means is that these weapons will not spray fire when you pull the trigger.  Instead, you’ll need to pull the trigger manually for each shot.  Both can be outfitted with Rifling attachments to negate damage drop-off at longer distances.  These single shot weapons will let you fire off a full clip with holding 8 and 10 rounds respectively.  If you’re more of a spray and pray type player, these might not be the best two choices for you.

M1 Garand

  • Description:  Semi-auto marksman rifle.  Delivers high damage that can take out enemies in two shots
  • Damage – 8
  • Range – 7
  • Accuracy – 6
  • Fire Rate – 4
  • Capacity 8/24

SVT-40

  • Description: Semi-auto marksman assault rifle.  Delivers high damage that can take out enemies in two shots.
  • Damage – 8
  • Range – 8
  • Accuracy – 6
  • Fire Rate – 3
  • Capacity 10/30

Most Powerful Submachine Guns in Call of Duty WW2

Almost all of the submachine guns in Call of Duty WW2 have decent damage, but they vary most when it comes to fire rate and/or accuracy.  If either one of these is important to you, pick the weapon that best suits your playstyle.  If you’re going to be in close quarters, accuracy probably isn’t as important as fire rate.  While if you’re usually finding that you’re engaged with players at a distance, a more accurate SMG will likely be a good fit for you.

Grease Gun

  • Description:  Automatic SMG with low recoil and steady fire rate.
  • Damage – 6
  • Range – 6
  • Accuracy – 8
  • Fire Rate – 5
  • Capacity 30/90

PPSH-41

  • Description:  Automatic SMG with a large magazine and modest damage.
  • Damage – 6
  • Range – 5
  • Accuracy – 6
  • Fire Rate – 8
  • Capacity 35/105

MP-40

  • Description:  Automatic SMG with balanced recoil and steady fire rate.
  • Damage – 6
  • Range – 6
  • Accuracy – 5
  • Fire Rate – 8
  • Capacity 32/96

Most Powerful Light Machine Gun in Call of Duty WW2

There’s only one LMG with a damage rating of  8 in Call of Duty WW2 and it’s the BREN.  Unfortunately the damage comes with a slow fire rate.  If you want the highest damage possible out of the LMG class, you’ll need to put up with a one of the slowest firing guns outside of the Sniper Rifles.

BREN

  • Full-auto LMG that delivers high damage at a slow fire rate.
  • Damage – 8
  • Range – 8
  • Accuracy – 6
  • Fire Rate – 3
  • Capacity 30/60

Most Powerful Sniper Rifles in Call of Duty WW2

We listed the top two Sniper Rifles here because after playing with them both they both seemed worth mentioning.  The M1903 is the most powerful weapon in the game.  It has the biggest zone you can hit a player in and take them down with one shot.  It is a bolt action so you’ll need to reload on each shot.  For those that take the plunge in Division Prestige for the Mountain Division, you’ll get access to the KAR98K.  This sniper rifle also has a large one shot kill zone, it’s just not quite as powerful as the M1903.  That small damage drop-off does come with increased accuracy.

M1903

  • Description:  Heavy bolt-action Sniper Rifle that has largest one shot kill zone.
  • Damage – 10
  • Range – 10
  • Accuracy – 4
  • Fire Rate – 1
  • Capacity 5/25

KAR98K

  • Description:  Bolt-action Sniper Rifle that offers generous one shot kill zone.
  • Damage – 9
  • Range – 9
  • Accuracy – 6
  • Fire Rate – 1
  • Capacity 5/25

Most Powerful Shotgun in Call of Duty WW2

Combat Shotgun

  • Description:  Pump-action Shotgun with high damage that delivers one hit kills in close quarters.
  • Damage – 10
  • Range – 4
  • Accuracy – 7
  • Fire Rate – 4
  • Capacity 7/21

There are multiple types of Prestige in Call of Duty WW2.  You can prestige your character, you can prestige your division, you can also prestige your weapons.  This guide will show you how to Prestige your weapons and what happens when you do.

First off, you can prestige your weapon at any time that it’s eligible from the soldier screen where you select your loadouts.  If you’re in Headquarters you can go to the Gunsmith to prestige your weapon as well.  Here, it’ll tell you about the features that become available once you decide to prestige your weapon.

Prestige for weapons earns you the ability to place a kill counter on the gun, or put your clan tag on your weapon.  If a weapon is ready to be prestige, the game will prompt you to do so.  If not, there will be lock on the weapon when trying to prestige from the Headquarters Gunsmith.

At launch, the Gunsmith does not have the Paint Job functionality enabled.  Though it does say that it is “Coming Soon.”

To put your Clan tag or Kill Count on your weapon, select the weapon and then press (Triangle for PS4 | Y for Xbox One) and select Prestige Options.  After the first round of Prestige you can enter your Clan tag on the gun.  In order to put your Kill Count on a weapon you’ll need to prestige it a second time.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: How to Challenge Other Players in Headquarters https://attackofthefanboy.com/games/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-challenge-other-players-in-headquarters/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/games/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-challenge-other-players-in-headquarters/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:46 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667685

The new social space for Call of Duty WW2, Headquarters features a number of things that you can do with your character in terms of customization, but it also allows you to challenge other players to competitive events.

The Shooting Range is one of these events and you can challenge any player in your Headquarters lobby to a round of “Shootout Challenge.”  Simply walk up to any player avatar in Headquarters and press the (Square Button for PlayStation | X button for Xbox One) and then select Shootout Challenge.

The screen where you can challenge other players also has a number of other options, which include the ability to mute them, inspect their gear, and Commend them.

If they accept your challenge then you’ll play a round of Shootout Challenge in the Gun Range.  The rules for the shootout challenge are to hit the most targets in the slotted amount of time.

You cannot currently challenge other players to one vs. one matches in Headquarters as there is a queue to play this mode.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: Headquarters Easter Egg Jumping Puzzle https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-headquarters-easter-egg-jumping-puzzle/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-headquarters-easter-egg-jumping-puzzle/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:44 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667553

Headquarters is the new social space in Call of Duty WW2 that features a number of different elements for player progression, customization, as well as competitive features like one and one and firing range shootouts.  The Headquarters for Call of Duty WW2 is also littered with Easter Eggs for players to find, and one that we uncovered during our time with the game is a jumping puzzle that allows you to get to the top of the Headquarters main building.

How to complete the Jumping Puzzle in Headquarters

This jumping puzzle begins in the Theater.  As soon as you enter the Theater, head to the left and to the back of the room.  Here you’ll find a wall that can be hopped up on to.  Catching this small ledge is the first step in this puzzle.  Once on the ledge, you’ll need to position your character to make the next leap, which entails catching another ledge to get on top of the wall.

Once on top of the wall you’ll need to head to the right and position yourself on the very edge of the gap between the wall and a stone post.  Make the leap between the wall and the post.  Once on the post, you’ll need to hop across to the crumbled section of the wall where you’ll now be overlooking the Quartermaster.  From here it’s a difficult leap from the crumbled wall to a small pipe that is sticking out of the main Headquarters building.

headquarters-easter-egg-call-of-duty-ww2

Try to align yourself a little to left of the pipe before jumping.  Once on the pipe you’ll only have a very small ledge to the right to hop on to.  Carefully transition to the small metal ledge on your right, and then you’ve only got one more easy hop onto more solid ground atop the building.  At this point you should be above Major Howard.  You’ll want to go around the left side of the building, hugging the wall on your right.  This will bring you around to the back of the building.  Keep following the right wall all the way back around to the front of the building where you’ll see a another crumbled section.

Here you have two options to find two different Easter Eggs.  If you head straight into this dark area you’ll find a chalk post that says “Kilroy Was Here” and you’ll also find a Gridiron Ball.  Head back out of this lookout room and head up the broken slabs to the very top of the building.  At the top you’ll have the opportunity to make a leap off of the Headquarters building to snag the Fall Guy Rewards for 15ft, 25ft, and 38ft.   Before you make your leap, you’ll also find an Easter Egg from Sledgehammer Games, a sledgehammer at the very top of the building.

To get all of the achivements, you’ll want to get a running start and leap to the right of the theater where two soldiers are sitting.  If successful you’ll get the achievements.

Which Epic Weapons and Uniforms are hardest to get?

While you could always get lucky and find expensive epic, legendary, or rare pieces in Supply Drops the Quartermaster has a price for every piece for each Epic Weapon and Uniform.  The most expensive ones will likely be the most rare and sought after.

As for Epic Weapons:  The Epic MG 15 “Shorty” & the Epic MP-40 “Wunderwaffe” appear to be the most expensive with the MG 15 costing around 18.5K in armory credits, while the Epic MP-40 costs a whopping 25K in Armory Credits if you were to purchase each piece separately.

There are some cheaper Epic Weapons.  The FG42 only costs around 3800 Armory Credits to assemble, and so does the M1941 Jawbreaker.

Uniforms can also get a little on the pricey side as well.  The Royal Highland Regiment is the most expensive to assemble, costing over 13.5K in Armory Credits.  Though on the cheap side, “Hell on Wheels” can be had for a measly 5000.

Call of Duty WW2 Zombies Walkthrough https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-zombies-walkthrough/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-zombies-walkthrough/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:40 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667669

You’ll begin the game in a small area with a handful of Zombies that will attack.  In wave one these zombies will be very easy, they can be taken out with your shovel or a single pistol shot.  Next you’ll need to head through the middle gate and into the Village Square.  Here you’ll need to get the power going if you want to start opening up the main path for the mode.  There are three valves that must be turned on.  Follow the power cables to the valves, one is behind another locked door.

Final Reich Zombies Walkthrough

Once you got the valves turned you’ll need to hit the pilot light in the center of the Village Square.  This will cause an explosion and give you your first battle with a new fast moving type of zombie.  Dispatch this group and then you can hop down the hole that was created to turn on the power.  Head back up the ramp to the Village Square and you’ll be give access to the Bunker.

Once inside the bunker you’ll come across your first mystery box, three doors, and a contraption with a crank on it.  Before doing anything open the crank as you’ll need it for later.  Now you’ve got a door in the center and a door on the left and right.  The door on the left of the room (from entering) goes towards a laboratory.  The door on the right goes to the Morgue.  Your objective here is to open both doors and then turn a switch a both sides that will give you access to the main door in the middle for the Salt Mines.

Working with your team open both doors and then find the two switches and pull them before time runs out.  This will give you access to the Salt Mines door.  Head all the way to the bottom of the Salt Mines and you’ll find the Emperor’s Room.  Here you’ll find multiple contraptions that you’ll need to work with throughout the rest of this game.

At this point your party can split up.  One group can head to the Salt Mines and release the contraption that is needed to build the Tesla Gun, while another group start to unlock the Pack-a-Punch Machine.

For the team that’s working to build the Tesla Gun, they’ll need to escort the Geistkraft Transfer Device through the Laboratory and the Morgue to spots where the weapon parts are built.  The Transfer Device will have a red circle below it.  To keep it moving you’ll need to kill zombies within the circle to seemingly power it forward.  Once you’ve done both sides with the device and collected the parts for the Tesla Weapon, you’ll head back to the central Command Room to create the Tesla Gun.

For the team that’s working on the Pack-a-Punch, you’ll can get to the machine through the Morgue and then through the Sewers.  Once in the Sewers you’ll see a device that’s locked in a cage.  That’s the Pack-a-punch machine.  There’s a red switch that needs to be pushed to get the process started to unlock the Pack-a-punch.  Once you press the red button, you’ll find that there are three tubes that must be traveled down, each will have a button that raises a portion of the gate that the device is locked behind.

The first tube is located in the Command Center.
The second tube is located in the Laboratory.
The third tube is located in the Tower at the very end of the bridge.

Each tube will cost 250 credits to use, and will transport you from the entrance to the Sewers where’ll you’ll need to press a red button upon exiting the tube.  Once you’ve done all three you’ll get access to the machine that makes your guns more powerful.  After you’ve completed your end of these activities, meet back up in the Command Room as you’ll have a tough fight ahead as a Flamethrower Zombie will be trying to impede your progress of creating the Tesla Gun.

After you’ve assembled the Tesla Gun, you’ll need to head back down into the Salt Mine to Examine the Right Hand of God.  Once you do, you’ll be prompted to re-route power to the Tower.  You can head back to the Command Center Room and here you’ll find a power grid.  What you need to do here is to re-route the power, using four boxes that are scattered across the map.  Using the map above and the first station you’ll start this timed quest.

Doing it is easiest in these steps.  First turn on the power.  Second look at the grid.  It shows station one is green, station two is green, station three is red, and station 4 is blue.  You can do station one right there.  Just turn the level on station one to green and then move to station 2.  Station 2 is through the morgue, on the way to the sewers.  Stop off, change the switch to green and then move on to station three.  Keep running through the sewers to the back entrance which leads outside and flip this switch to red.  Finally, the fourth box is right in front of the bridge that leads to the Tower.  Flip that switch to Blue and you can progress.

Once you’ve got the power routed to the tower you’ll have another task on your hands.  You’ll need to Activate and Defend a Central Lightning Rod as well as the secondary lightning rods on the bridge.  After successfully activating and defending the rods, you’ll need to Activate the Right Hand of God in the Salt Mines.  This will cause a disturbance to start that you must investigate back up above in Village Square.  You’ll find that there’s a Zeppelin now in the skies above the map.  You’re then tasked with damaging the Zeppelin and causing it to drop these powerful items called Uberschnalles.  The Uberschnalles function somewhat like the Geiskraft Transfer Device.  Once you’ve damaged the Zeppelin enough they’ll drop off the aircraft and then you must defend them in a radius.  After you’ve defended them for a time, you’ll need to bring them to the Salt Mine Chamber to install them on The Left Hand of God.  You’ll need three in total.

Once you’ve got them attached, you’ll have yet another puzzle to deal with.  This is “The Voice of God.”  This puzzle requires you to examine paintings across the map.  Using the Bremmer Heads that are found on the ground after you kill the bigger zombies, you can use them as a light source by pressing the Left Trigger while holding them.  Paintings and other items can be examined using the heads.  There are four paintings that you must find, and each will have a number and bird symbol on them.  You’ll need to use the contraption in the Salt Mine Chamber Room to align the right set of numbers and symbols on the machine.  After you do, you’ll activate the Voice of God, and then start the Hilt Quest in the same room.

The Hilt will become engulfed in energy and there’s a group effort that needs to take place where your team shoots the Hilt with the Tesla Gun in unison.  Doing so will intimate the final boss fight for the game.  This boss fight functions similarly to the Zeppelin sequence where you’ll need to shoot down generators off of the airships.  Mostly you can just avoid the boss during this process and proceed to try and cause the Uberschnalles to fall down.  Once you do get the generators on the ground, you’ll need to kill zombies within a certain radius.  Doing so will cause it to explode and drop a battery.  These batteries are what can hurt the Panermorder Boss.  Once a battery is available you can shoot the boss, stun him, and then place the object on him.  You’ll need to repeat this process three times to defeat the boss for Zombies.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: How to Play One on One https://attackofthefanboy.com/games/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-play-one-on-one/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/games/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-play-one-on-one/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:39 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667683

The ability to play one on one is something new to Call of Duty.  The Headquarters area allows players to compete in one versus one matches, but you can’t just challenge anyone.  For every Headquarters lobby there is a One vs. One Arena and Leaderboard.

The 1v1 Arena is located at the back of the Headquarters, and to play you’ll need to register in the queue.  To register for 1v1 matches you’ll need to walk up to the leaderboard for the game, and then press (Square for PS4 | X for Xbox One).  This will prompt you to enter the 1v1 Queue.

Once you’re in the queue for the game you can go about your business in Headquarters.  The game will prompt you when it’s your turn to play.

Before you play you’ll have the chance to ban one item combination from the game, and so will your opponent.  Each player will start with the same equipment after the banning process.

Matches in 1v1 are 60 seconds long and each player gets three lives.  The Winner gets to take on the next person in the queue.

When you’re not playing Headquarters you can watch players play in real time in the third person by just looking into the arena.  You’ll see the action going on as it unfolds.  While playing, the game is played in first person, however.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: How to Get Rare Supply Drops https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-get-rare-supply-drops/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-get-rare-supply-drops/#comments Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:33 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667674

Call of Duty WW2 has a new Supply Drop system for multiplayer to go along with the new Headquarters feature.  So how do you get Supply Drops in Call of Duty WW2?  There are a number of ways to earn them by doing different activities in the game.  There are four types of Supply Drops in Call of Duty WW2.  In multiplayer there are Normal And Rare Supply Drops.  For Zombies mode there are Normal and Rare Supply Drops as well.

For the competitive multiplayer mode, Supply Drops will contain pieces that you can use to complete Epic Sets for Weapons and Uniforms.  They’ll also contain things like Armory Credits, and Double XP.

Quartermaster Contracts

There are a few ways to earn these Supply Drops for multiplayer.  The first is through the Quartermaster.  Different contracts in the Quartermaster have different rewards.  These timed contracts task you with performing different actions in the game, whether that’s killing a certain number of enemies in a specific amount of time, getting headshots, or other activities.   As you scroll through these contracts, take note of the bottom right corner which says “Rewards”  this will show you the reward for completion.  Not all offer Supply Drops, but many Quartermaster Contracts do.

Daily Orders through Major Howard

The Daily Orders done through Major Howard offer Supply Drops for some of the items.  If you complete six Daily Orders in a 24 hour period, you’ll earn a Rare Supply Drop for your efforts.  There are also Weekly Orders that are a little more challenging, but offer a Rare Supply Drop if completed.  Major Howard also offers a “Special Order” that can earn you a Rare Supply drop as well.

Randomly

Just playing in matches might give you a Supply Drop at random.  During the after action screen, some players will earn Supply Drops seemingly at random.  It’s unclear if this is random or if it’s done through some sort of in-game feat.  We did not see a rhyme or reason as to why a person was chosen for a Supply Drop.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: How to Perform Heroic Actions https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-perform-heroic-actions/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-perform-heroic-actions/#comments Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:33 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667494

The Campaign for Call of Duty WW2 is a totally different type of experience than previous Call of Duty games.  Along with the new setting of WW2, the gameplay focuses on squad tactics instead of the lone wolf style gameplay from other games in the series.

One of the new features of the campaign is the ability to perform “Heroic Actions.”  These actions are part collectible for each level, and partly a power-up for your squad as you progress through the game.

There are a few different types of Heroic Actions that you can perform in Call of Duty WW2.  Early on the campaign you’ll notice that Heroic Actions include killing enemies when you catch them in the act of killing a fellow solider.  Then later you’ll also find that Heroic Actions can also be performed by not killing enemies if they are in the midst of trying to surrender.

In the instances where you’ll need to kill enemies, you’ll have a limited amount of time to complete the action.  It will be noted with a marker over an enemies head that needs to be killed in order to get the Heroic Action.  In the instances where enemies are surrendering, you’ll see that German forces will raise their arms in surrender.  The fast-paced action of the game dictates that you need to recognize this action very quickly.  If you shoot them you’ll fail the Heroic Action, but if you approach these enemies with their arms raised and press the Aim button on the controller, these enemies will surrender successfully and you’ll earn the Heroic Action.

Other Heroic Actions include getting your squad mates to safety after they’ve been downed by the enemy.  While you might not be able to see exactly where these allies are on the map, you’ll often times hear them screaming for help.  In these instances you’ll want to walk over to them and drag them to safety.

There will be times when the action won’t be quite as straight forward.  For example, one level has an ally that needs to be pulled to safety but he’s under fire from a sniper.  You need to throw smoke onto the battlefield and then drag him to safety.

The new Heroic Actions in Call of Duty WW2 keep you on your toes throughout the campaign.  Can you find them all?  Each level has a number of actions that can be completed.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: How to Find Gridiron Ball in Headquarters https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-find-gridiron-ball-in-headquarters/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-find-gridiron-ball-in-headquarters/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:30 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667565

Sledgehammer Games has tucked away a number of different Easter Eggs and surprises in the new Headquarters mode and you may have seen players running around with a Gridiron Ball.  The developers have tucked a few of these away in the nooks and crannies of Headquarters and we know a couple ways that you can find the Gridiron Ball.  Both of the methods that we know involve the jumping puzzles in Headquarters.

How to find the hidden Gridiron Ball in Headquarters #1

Let’s start with the easy one first.  When you spawn into Headquarters head right towards the firing range but stop before you get there.  There’s a big cannon to your immediate right and the first Gridiron Ball is located right under it.  You’ll need to do a simple jumping puzzle to go from the ground to the cannon.

headquarters-hidden-ball-1

First jump onto the ledge that is extends just slightly above the ground level and face the broken column.  Next jump onto the broken column and then turn around and face the cannon.  Next you’ll need to hop from the broken column to the cannon.  Under the cannon is the first Gridiron Ball.

How to get the second Gridiron Ball in Headquarters

The second Gridiron Ball that we found in Headquarters was located while doing a more complex jumping puzzle.  This puzzle begins in the theater and then goes all the way to the top of the Headquarters main building.  Though before you get to the very top of this jumping puzzle you can stop off and collect the second Gridiron Ball.

headquarters-easter-egg-ball-2

If you need instructions on how to get on to the top of the main building in Headquarters, you can check out this guide and video for step by step instructions on how to get on to the building by using precision jumping.

Once you’re on the building you need to go around the left side of it and follow it around to the front where you’ll see the broken structure in the picture above.  You can either head to the very top of the building by climbing this rubble or head to the right and into this lookout area.

Since this guide is for the Gridiron Ball, that’s where you’ll want to go.  Into the dark lookout room and you’ll pick-up the second Gridiron Ball Easter Egg in Headquarters.

Getting Secret Gridiron Balls in Call of Duty WW2 Headquarters

How to get the third Gridiron Ball in Headquarters

The third hidden Gridiron Ball in Headquarters is located in the Scorestreak Tower.  While you can enter the tower to practice using Scorestreaks, getting the Gridiron Ball will be a little more difficult.

You’ll need to climb the outside of the Scorestreak Tower.  Heading from where you spawn in Headquarters head down to the Scorestreak Tower on the beach.  Approaching from the front, you’ll want to start out on the right side of the Tower.

headquarters-ball-3

From there you’ll need to jump up onto the tower’s main horizontal beam.  Once on the bottom beam you’ll need to make a second jump to the small piece of wood that is slanting upwards.  Slowly make your way to the top of that slanted beam and then you’ll need to make a third jump to a black hook that will be directly in front of you.  From here, you’ll need to edge your character slightly outside to give yourself enough room to make another jump.

headquarters-ball-3-part-2

From this first black hook, you’ll need to make a fourth jump to another small piece of wood that is slanted upwards towards the tower’s main area.  Once on that small piece, there are only two small jumps left.  The first is from that small piece of wood to the second black hook, and then from the hook onto the main platform of the tower.   Once at the top you’ll automatically mantle the wall where you’ll find Gridiron Ball #3.

If you’re needing help with Ball #3 you can check out the video below:

Call of Duty WW2 Zombies Guide: How to Turn on the Power https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-zombies-guide-how-to-turn-on-the-power/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-zombies-guide-how-to-turn-on-the-power/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:27 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667446

Before you do just about anything in Call of Duty WW2 Zombies Final Reich, you’ll need to turn on the power.  Thankfully, this objective is pretty straight forward if you’re observant.  To turn the power on in the Final Reich you’ll need to progress out of the starting area and into the Village Square.

Upon entering the Village you’ll see an object that has three cables coming out of it.  Follow the three cables.  These will lead you to three valves that need to be turned to their maximum setting of sixty.  Two of the valves can be accessed immediately, while one of them is locked behind a door which can be opened with Jolt Currency.  Once you’ve got all the valves turned you’ll be able to turn on the pilot light using the circular contraption.  Pressing the pilot light button will cause an explosion.  Out of the explosion will come a new fast moving type of zombie.  Kill these zombies and then you’ll see that the place they came out of is now available for you to enter.

Enter the hole in the ground and you’ll find the power generator.  Hit the switch to turn on the power and exit back out into Village Square.  Once you turn the power on you’ll be able to access the Bunker, Command Center, Morgue, Laboratory, and Salt Mine and start progressing further into Zombies mode.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: What Are Armory Credits & How to Get Them https://attackofthefanboy.com/games/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-what-are-armory-credits/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/games/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-what-are-armory-credits/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:25 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667677

Armory Credits are a new form of currency in Call of Duty WW2.  These credits will allow you to purchase items in the Epic Weapon and Uniform Collections that are needed to complete sets to unlock Epic pieces of gear.

Armory Credits aren’t that hard to come by if you know how the progression system works and the different types of challenges that are available to you in Headquarters.

Alongside the ability to spend Armory Credits on gear to complete sets, this currency can be used to purchase contracts from the Quartermaster which will give you the opportunity to earn different rewards like Rare Supply Drops and XP Bundles.  Contract vary in terms of how many Armory Credits they cost.

Usually the harder the contract is, the less it costs.  Armory Credits can also be used for other things in Headquarters.  There’s an RnR (Rest and Relaxation) tent that has a number of retro Activision games that can be played for 10 Armory Credits per turn.

How to get Armory Credits Fast

There’s really no farming method that we found for Armory Credits but there are a few ways that you can get them steadily.

The first and most reliable way of growing your credits is to not take on the Quartermaster Challenges.  While the Rare Supply Drops are tempting, the requirements are often tough and can deplete your Armory Credits in the process.

Instead of the Quartermaster, if you’re looking to do challenges head over to Major Howard for Daily, Weekly, and Special Orders which will give you a chance at earning Armory Credits, Rare Supply Drops, and other items like Social Score, and XP Boosts.

Your Social Score also has milestones attached to it.  The more things you do in Headquarters the higher your Social Score will go.  Certain milestones will reward you with a bunch of Armory Credits.

Lastly, make sure you check your mail every time you head into Headquarters.  Every few hours your mail will reset and you’ll get 100 credits to spend on whatever you like.

There are numerous ways to customize your appearance in Call of Duty multiplayer.  You can customize the look of your face and body with different races and genders available in the Faces section of the Dossier in the multiplayer menu.  You can also equip special helmets, which you’ll earn from completing the single player campaign, zombies mode, or having participated in the Call of Duty WW2 Beta.  Alongside these customization options you can also unlock completely new uniforms by calling in Supply Drops in Headquarters.

Each Division also gives you a unique customization option for your appearance.  Each Division, the Infantry, Airborne, Mountain, Armored, and Expeditionary have a standard issue uniform that is different from the other.  While the Infantry and Airborne are somewhat similar, the Armored, Expeditionary, and Mountain are all much different from one another.

Equipping outfits that you’ve unlocked via Supply Drops or purchased with Armory Credits can be done in the game’s Division select screen where you can press Y or Triangle to select “Personalize” while hovering over your Division logo.

You can find out more about all of the Epic Uniforms in Call of Duty WW2 here.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: Campaign Tips https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-campaign-tips/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-campaign-tips/#comments Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:18 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667452

The Call of Duty WW2 single player campaign takes you across Europe during WW2.  While it will feel somewhat familiar for fans of the series, Sledgehammer Games has changed up the formula for the single player enough to give it a different feel from other Call of Duty games.  Here are our top tips to survive the Call of Duty WW2 Campaign.

You have to work as a team

Call of Duty WW2 Single Player Campaign is centered around a group of soldiers who fight throughout the war together.  This is not a lone wolf story mode, and the gameplay has been changed to make you more dependent on your squadmates, even if they are controlled by AI.

It’s very beneficial to stay close to your squad in Call of Duty WW2 because each of them can help you out in different ways, from healing and ammunition to airstrikes and enemy call-outs.  Here’s what each of your squad members in Call of Duty WW2 Campaign will do for you.

Depending on the mission, you’ll have different squad members available.  These are noted in the bottom right corner of the screen.  Each character will have an icon as to what they’ll provide you.

  • Zussman – Pressing up on the d-pad, Zussman will throw you extra health packs
  • Aiello – Pressing up on the d-pad, Aiello will throw you a green smoke marker to call in an airstrike on enemies.
  • Pierson – Pressing up on the d-pad while near Pierson will use his binoculars to show the outline and position of enemy forces.
  • Turner – Pressing up on the d-pad, Turner will throw you ammunition if you’re running low.
  • Stiles – Pressing up on the d-pad, Stiles will refill your grenades.

You have to be near these characters to take advantage of their abilities.  Each of them are clearly marked on the screen, but straying too far away when low on ammunition or health can sometimes have deadly outcomes.

These mechanics are quite different than other Call of Duty games.  Because of that it might take you a little while to get used to the fact that you have to heal yourself, or the fact that you can utilize perks like the binoculars or airstrikes when you’re overwhelmed.  The sooner you learn to use these perks as often as possible the easier time you’ll have with the campaign.

Health No Longer Regenerates

In this Call of Duty campaign, your health does not regenerate automatically.  You’ll need to have a health pack on hand to heal yourself when your health is running low.  Pressing right on the d-pad will heal you if you have health packs on hand.  If you don’t, hit up Zussman or check your surroundings for health kits on the battlefield.

Check your surroundings

Most missions will have squadmates to help you with things like ammunition or health packs, but this is still a Call of Duty game and there’s always new guns and ammunition lying around on the ground.  What’s new to this one though is the health packs that will be found around each level as well.  While you can call for healthpacks if near Zussman, you can also stock up just by searching around each level as there’s usually a few tucked away in each part of the game.

Stay in Stealth

There are quite a few stealth missions in Call of Duty WW2’s campaign.  These levels are designed to be played in stealth or in all-out combat, but they are much easier beaten if remaining in stealth.  On stealth missions, enemies will have markers over their heads that will start out as black crosses and fill with white as an enemy is alerted.  Once the cross has been filled, you’ll usually break stealth and have to play a mission against many, many enemies.

Some stealth missions have commanders that can be killed to make it a little easier once things do go loud.

*note — On one stealth mission we broke stealth right after a check point and the level became so hard that we had to restart it entirely, losing our progress.  Make sure if the level is a stealth level, that you try to remain on the down low.

Heroic Actions

Throughout each level there are numerous “Heroic Actions” that you can perform to help earn Squad Abilities.  These range from saving soldiers from an enemy kill or dragging an injured soldier to safety or making enemy soldiers surrender.  Each of these actions will earn you new squad abilities.  You can go to the pause screen at any time on a level to see how many heroic actions are available or left in a stage.  All Heroic Actions are on a timer and will denoted by a red marker above the head of the person that either needs to be saved, killed, or made to surrender.  Missing the opportunity for the Heroic Action in a stage will require a restart at the last checkpoint to complete it.

Call of Duty WW2 Zombies Guide: How to Unlock Pack-A-Punch https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-zombies-guide-how-to-unlock-pack-a-punch/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-zombies-guide-how-to-unlock-pack-a-punch/#comments Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:15 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667632

Sledgehammer Games has reimagined the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: WW2.  While they’ve certainly put their own spin on things for this iteration of the popular cooperative mode, some things are carried over from previous Zombie modes.  Like the Pack-A-Punch, for example.  Like other Call of Duty Zombie modes, The Final Reich does feature a Pack-A-Punch Machine that can help you power-up your weapons to face the increasingly difficult waves of enemies.

This is a guide to help you unlock the Pack-A-Punch Machine in the Final Reich quickly.  It can be unlocked fairly quickly, and can even be done pretty easily in the single player zombies mode.  You’ll need to start as you would in every Zombies match, but we’ve laid out a timeline that you should follow to unlock Pack-A-Punch as quickly as possible.

Defeat all of the zombies in the starting area and once they’re cleared, unlock the middle gate which will bring you out into the Village Square.

During Wave 2 you can start to get things powered up in the Village so that you can access the Bunker.  As you walk into Village Square you’ll notice three power cables coming from a generator.  Follow the three cords and you’ll find three valves.  These all need to be turned all the way up.  Save the final valve that’s locked behind a gate for last.  As you clear out the zombies in Wave 2, you should save up enough cash to unlock the door to the third valve, which is located in Riverside.

You should have all three valves cranked to sixty, which will now give you the option to press a button that activates a pilot light.   You can either clear out the Wave 3 zombies or press the button immediately, but be warned, once you do you will have to deal with a handful of fast moving enemies.  At this point, depending on how you’ve managed your ammunition, you may need to purchase a new weapon.  There is a weapon on the wall directly to the left of the pilot light, but if you can save your cash the first Mystery Box is just ahead.

During the transition between Wave 3 and Wave 4 you’ll have an opportunity to jump into the hole that you just created by turning on the pilot light and blowing a hole in the ground.  This will take you into the Tunnel.  In the Tunnel you’ll find the power switch that needs to be pressed to access the Bunker.  After pressing the power head back out into the Village Square and then open the Bunker door.  If you’ve saved your cash you can unlock the Mystery Box in the Command Room here and purchase a weapon. Regardless, you’ll need to clear out the fourth wave of Zombies.

Once you’re in the Bunker’s Command Room you’ll need to open the door on the left to The Morgue, which will start leading you on your way to the Pack-A-Punch machine.  It costs another 1500 Jolts to open.   At this point progress forward through the Morgue to the Sewers.  You’ll need another 1500 Jolts to get from the Morgue to the Sewers, but once you’re there you’ll get your first glimpse at the Pack-a-Punch Machine.  It’s surrounded by spiked gates and you’ll need to raise these gates by hitting three switches that are currently behind bars.  If you take a look around before leaving the Sewers you’ll see three tubes.

The next portion of this guide will tell you where these tubes are.  The closest tube is back in the Bunker Command Room.  Just head back through the Morgue to the Command Room and then turn immediately right once you’re back in.  Go up the stairs to the right and the tube will be on your left, it cost 250 Jolts to ride the tube back down to the Sewers.  Riding that tube back down will open the gate that was there before.  Don’t forget to hit the button on your right to lift one of the gates surrounding the Pack-a-Punch.  Go right back to the Command Room through the Morgue, but this time you’ll want to go straight across to the other side and open the door to the Laboratory. This door cost 1500 Jolts as well, but the second tube is not far off from here.  Head through the laboratory and take a left through the Zombie Trap.  Just after the trap on your left you’ll find tube #2.  It’s another 250 Jolts to ride the tube down and repeat the same process from before.

The final tube is located in The Tower.  This area is really close to where you start the Zombies mode.  Make your way back out to the Village Square and then back to where you started the game.  You’ll now be able to unlock a door that leads right to the Tower area.  Head across the bridge and then as you approach the tower head to the left and you’ll see the final tube in the back left corner.

This final tube ride will allow you to fully access the Pack-a-Punch machine.  Once you have access you can upgrade any weapon for 5000 Jolts.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: Divisions & Progression Explained https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-divisions-progression-explained/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-divisions-progression-explained/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:09 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667474

Unlike other Call of Duty games, Call of Duty WW2 features a brand new system for creating a character to use in the competitive multiplayer mode for the game.  Instead of creating a class as in other entries in the series, this game introduces “Divisions.”

With five Divisions in all, players will be able to pick a Division that features unique perks and abilities when starting Call of Duty WW2 multiplayer for the first time.  The Divisions include: Infantry, Airborne, Armored, Mountain, and Expeditionary.

Each of them suit different playstyles and have progression elements that unlock new perks for your character as well as an exclusive weapon upon completing four levels of progress and then Prestige in Headquarters mode.

Below you’ll find a full list of the Divisions in Call of Duty WW2, the perks unlocked as you progress in rank, and the Prestige Weapon for each Division.

Infantry Division & Progression

I: Rifle Bayonet
II: Additional Primary Attachment
III: Extra Magazines
IV: Move significantly faster while aiming down sights
V: Prestige Weapon – SVT – 40

Airborne Division & Progression

IV: Silent movement
V: Prestige Weapon – KAR89K

Expeditionary Division & Progression

I: Shotgun Incendiary Shells
II: Select a piece of Tactical and Lethal Equipment
III: Throw equipment faster, farther & while sprinting
IV: Resupply equipment from killed enemies
V: Prestige Weapon – Sawed-off Shotgun

Which Call of Duty WW2 Division is best for you?

As you can see from the perks list, each of these Divisions will play much differently from the other.  If you’re looking for an all-around, well-rounded character the Infantry class is most geared toward this play style.  If you’re a run and gun player, Airborne is the best choice as it offers perks that boost your speed, sprinting and vaulting abilities.  For Snipers and those who prefer not to be so easily detected, the Mountain Division is a good choice as you’ll have perks that allow you to remain hidden from Enemy Recon planes.  Trying different Divisions in the game and mixing and matching them with Basic Training perks will likely be the best way to make the best character to suit your playstyle.  You can find a list of these complimentary Basic Training Perks here.

This is What Happens When You Prestige in Call of Duty WW2 https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/this-is-what-happens-when-you-prestige-in-call-of-duty-ww2/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/this-is-what-happens-when-you-prestige-in-call-of-duty-ww2/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:03 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667536

Unlike previous Call of Duty games, Call of Duty WW2 introduces a new mode into the game called Headquarters which is a base of operations for your character that allows you to do a number of different activities, earn rewards, and hang-out with fellow players.

One of the activities that you’ll be doing in Headquarters is the Prestige ceremony for both your general level and division.  Once you’ve progressed far enough into the game to prestige either your base level or Division level, you’ll be able to access a new part of the Headquarters area that allows you to talk with the General for a Prestige Ceremony.

What happens when you prestige in Call of Duty WW2?

  • You get a Prestige Unlock Token that allows you to unlock loadout items permanently
  • Your rank resets to level 1
  • Progress is kept for Division levels, Weapon levels, Challenge Progress and Customization Items
  • Prestige Rewards — Access to a special set of Prestige Rewards and Challenges
  • New Class Slot

The video below shows off the first Prestige level in Call of Duty WW2 by visiting the General in Headquarters.

There’s a secondary Prestige that can also be done for your Division in Call of Duty WW2 that will grant you access to a special weapon in each Division.  In the same area of the Headquarters as the General, your Division Prestige does a couple of unique things for each class.  For every Division Prestige weapon head here.   As you can see, Prestige for the Airborne Division resets your level to 1, but allows you to keep your Player Rank and Weapon Levels, as well as Challenge Progress and Customization Items.

But the perks are that you have access to a new weapon.  In this case it’s the MP-40 Submachine Gun.

Call of Duty WW2 Guide: How to Unlock Watermelon Gun Range Sequence in Headquarters https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-unlock-watermelon-shooting-range-sequence-in-headquarters/ https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/call-of-duty-ww2-guide-how-to-unlock-watermelon-shooting-range-sequence-in-headquarters/#respond Thu, 02 Nov 2017 12:59:00 +0000 https://attackofthefanboy.com/?p=667560

The Shooting Range in Headquarters Mode has tons of targets that you can shoot at, but it’s got some secrets as well.  One of them is a secret shooting sequence that will unleash watermelons onto the range that you can blow up.  This is how you get watermelons in the Headquarters Shooting Range.

First things first you’ll need to head to the Shooting Range.  Once there, you’ll see three sections that you can stand in.  You don’t have to be standing in a specific section to do this trick, but it’s easiest if you’re furthest to the right as you’ll have a clear shot at the targets you need to hit to release the watermelons.

In the right flank section, there are two white diamond shaped targets with red outlines and circles in the middle of them.  This part seems to be completely random.  You’ll need to shoot one of these targets and then shoot the three targets that pop up as a result.

Watermelons on the Gun Range in Headquarters

After shooting these three black and white targets another set of targets will pop up a little further back in a row of three on the left and a vertical column of five on the right.  Shoot these targets and two human target boards will pop up.  One is left of center and the other is back a little further and two the right.  Shoot these two targets and a group of watermelons will be released on to the Shooting Range.
